Suzy explained how Insight provides a unique source of interesting and forefront materials. Short courses such as “Textiles for interiors”as well as the FF&E (fabric, furniture and equipment) courses within the Certificates and the Interior Design Diploma curriculums are giving students the necessary knowledge and tools to be a better designer . A talented interior designer should be in tune with the types and usages of materials such as timbers, veneers, paint finishes, glass and mirrors, leather, velvets, silks etc.. Understand about materials will allow future designers to pick and choose the fabric or timber that will be fit to the project and to the client in terms of design, maintenance but also sustainability. At Insight design school we make sure that our students get a unique hands on access to all materials in order to come up with design proposals that are of higher quality than most of their competitors.
