Introduction to Interior Design Course Syllabus

You will go through the successive Interior Design stages process:

  • Taking a brief and writing a design proposal.
  • Developing a Concept and creating a sketchbook.
  • Understanding building principles and regulations. How to design for the Human form, the study of ergonomics.
  • Experiencing materials, colors, textiles and lighting. Creating a sample board.
  • Getting to draw: Technical drawings: plans, elevations and sections.

You will have the opportunity to be trained every week by our teachers. They are all practicing professional designers and experts in their fields.

With 1 day a week only commitment, you can fit easily this course around your existing commitments.

Suitability

No previous interior design experience needed . The introduction course will be a good foundation should you wish to join the Higher Diploma in Interior Design course
