Introduction to Interior Design
You will go through the successive Interior Design stages process:
- Taking a brief and writing a design proposal for a client.
- Developing a concept and creating a concept board.
- Understanding building principles, how to design for the human form and the study of ergonomics.
- Getting to draw: technical drawings: plans, elevations and sections.
- Experiencing materials, colors, textiles and lighting. Creating a samples board.
Insight School teachers are all practicing professional designers and experts in their fields.
With 1 day a week only commitment, you can fit easily this course around your existing commitments.
Suitability
No previous interior design experience needed . The introduction course will be a good foundation should you wish to join the Certificate in Residential Interior Design.
