Course Overview

 

For those looking to kick-start a career as an interior designer, then this course is your first step in acquiring this indispensable skill. In this two-day course, we’ll provide you with a basic understanding of the 2D drafting software and get you familiar with creating digital drawings using the interface.

Day one:

  • Run through of the interface, including how to create and save a new document
  • Drafting shapes with basic tools
  • Editing tools and commands
  • Precision modes
  • Outcome: Completing a drawing of a piece of furniture with front and side views

Day two:

  • Using layers
  • Adding annotations
  • Printing and exporting a PDF
  • Outcome: Completing a simple floor plan of a studio flat
