John AYE

Having worked all over the region, John’s experience has rendered him a genuine expert in Asian design.

Educated and trained in New Zealand, John moved to Hong Kong in 2008, where he began his interior design career. He has worked for some of the city’s most prestigious firms, on projects in China, Macau and Hong Kong. Working on both retail and mixed-use projects, some of his most notable work includes the Lippo Cikarang  development in Jakarta, Place 66 in Shenyang, i-Square Centre in Hong Kong, and The Tasting Room restaurant in Macau.

John teaches in the Interior Design department at Insight, with a focus on drawing.
