8 Week Course Syllabus

You will go through the successive Interior Design stages process:

  • Taking a brief and writing a design proposal.
  • Developing a Concept and creating a sketchbook.
  • Understanding building principles and regulations. How to design for the Human form, the study of ergonomics.
  • Experiencing materials, colors, textiles and lighting. Creating a sample board.
  • Getting introduced to History of style.
  • Getting to draw: Technical drawings: plans, elevations and sections.
  • Exploring Business practice and the professional world of Interior Design.

You will have the opportunity to be trained every week by our teachers. They are all practicing professional designers and experts in their fields.

With 1 day a week only commitment, you can fit easily this course around your work or family commitments.

Suitability

No previous interior design experience needed . The 8 weeks introduction course will be a good foundation should you wish to join the Higher Diploma in Interior Design course
